Here, you will be able to see all the functions running on your system. Locate the “Steam Client BootStrapper” option and click on the “End Task” button. Additionally, end the process for other Steam related processes as well. After that, within your Steam folder, you have to create a Steam shortcut. If you have the steam-store versions, there should be a CD-Key to the right of the game's tab. Use that in the Origin client. Either way, depending on your issue, it'd have to be one of those three. The latter two can be fixed, the first cannot (can't make a private server, not sure how anyways). Steam does not support connecting through a network DMZ (de-militarized zone), so this setting must be disabled in your router for Steam to function.
